1. Contact us to cancel
Email info@yavuzdigital.com with your name, project or invoice reference, the service involved and a clear request to cancel or seek a refund. We will confirm the status of the work, applicable terms and proposed calculation in writing. A request for a quote is free and requires no cancellation.
2. One-off projects
Before work begins: payments for unsupplied work are refundable, except for specific non-recoverable third-party costs that you expressly authorised in advance and which can lawfully be retained. We will identify and evidence any such cost.
After work begins: we assess work actually performed against the agreed scope and payment milestones. Any refund reflects unused prepaid work, subject to the accepted agreement and mandatory rights. We will explain the calculation; a deposit is not automatically non-refundable merely because it is called a deposit.
If we cannot deliver: we will discuss a revised plan or cancel the affected scope and refund payments for services not supplied. Where delivered work is defective or does not match the agreement, we will investigate and offer the remedy required by the contract and applicable law.
3. Ongoing hosting and maintenance
Your accepted service agreement states the billing cycle, any minimum term, renewal arrangements and notice requirements. Email your cancellation before the applicable renewal deadline. We will confirm the final service date and explain any data export or handover steps. Access to this website alone does not activate a recurring service.
Refunds of a partly used billing period depend on the agreed terms and the circumstances, including whether the service was supplied as agreed. Prepaid periods after an effective cancellation will not be charged or retained without a contractual and lawful basis.
4. Consumer cancellation rights
Our services are primarily intended for businesses. If you contract as a consumer and statutory distance-contract cancellation rights apply, you generally have 14 days from the day after the service contract is made to cancel without giving a reason.
If you expressly ask us to begin a service during that period and then cancel, a proportionate amount may be payable for the work supplied before cancellation, where the law permits and the required information was provided. A cancellation right for a fully performed service is lost only where the applicable consent and acknowledgement requirements have been met. Simply accepting these website terms does not provide that consent. Digital content, if supplied, has separate statutory consent requirements.
Where a statutory cancellation refund is due, we make it within the legally required period, generally 14 days after being informed of cancellation, without fees and using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. Other mandatory rights concerning service quality and remedies are unaffected.
5. Optional cancellation wording
You do not have to use a particular form. If helpful, send the following by email or post:
To: YAVUZ DIGITAL LTD, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom; info@yavuzdigital.com.
I give notice that I cancel my contract for: [service].
Contract date / invoice reference: [details].
Name and address: [details].
Date: [date].
Signature: [only if submitted on paper].
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. We do not require you to send card numbers by email. Bank and payment-provider processing times may add to the time before funds appear in your account. We will confirm the amount and initiation date and investigate a missing refund on request.
